Musical Instruments
In this movie, you’ll learn about musical instruments. The piano, banjo, guitar, cello, violin, and harp are all stringed instruments. When you pluck, strum, or hit strings on an instrument, the strings vibrate to make a sound. You play percussion instruments by hitting them with your hands, mallets, or drumsticks. Percussion instruments include maracas, xylophones, and many types of drums. A woodwind or brass instrument is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece. Flutes, recorders, clarinets, saxophones, tubas, and trumpets are all instruments you blow through.
